We donated a full set of 1.25" Swan Eyepieces, Dielectric Diagonal and erecting prism to the South Florida Amateur Astronomers Association in response to their soliciation for New Club Eyepieces

David Malin CWAS Awards (8 Aug., 2006, Sidney, Australia)

Peter Ward of Advanced Telescope Supplies won the David Malin CWAS Astro-Photographic Awards -the most prestigious annual astro-photographic competition run in Australia- with a spectacular Eclipse Sequence shot through a William Optics ZenithStar 80 FD Anniversary Edition. Peter commented:
"I chose the Z80FD (anniversary edition) after critical testing of of number of telescopes and lenses for image quality and portability prior to my trip to Libya for this year's solar eclipse."
