Great detail and resolution. Incredible depth of field. I like them better than Swarovski 7x42 old style. I thought the IF eyepieces were going to be a real pain but the depth of field is so good that it was little effort. They actually focus pretty close for a IF binocular. This is the best 7x50 I have ever seen. By the way I was not that impressed with the 10x50's and was kindly refunded. Buy this binocular for all kinds of observation. Edge to edge sharpness and color saturation is actually slightly better than my Swarovski EL's! I actually haul these around while birdwatching.
