Shipping & Returns
Damage, Shortage & Incorrect Shipment :
If your purchase has incurred any damage during shipping, if you did not receive the correct product or you think parts of it might be missing, contact us or your Authorized WO Dealer within 48 h of delivery in order for us to assist you without delay. Carrier-caused problems must be reported to the carrier as well.
Repair Policy :
Beyond the warranty period, it is the buyers responsibility to deal directly with WO to agree any repairs or replacements. Please contact William Optics for further details on your options to obtain service on one of our products.
Return and Refund Policy :
We hope that you will always be happy and delighted with your purchases of WO products. If nonetheless you wish to return a product purchased directly from WOnline for a refund, please contact us for a return authorization number (RMA#) and info on how and where to return it. For purchases through our dealers, please contact them for their terms and conditions.
All returns to WO to be refunded must be in perfect conditions, with original paperwork, packaging and proof of purchase. Refunds after 14 days from the invoice date are subject to a 15% restocking fee. No refund will be allowed after 30 days from the invoice date. The buyer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance on any products returned for a refund. WO will not take any responsibility for damage incurred during return shipping. Original shipping charges, taxes or customs duties are not-refundable.
Will I have to pay any Customs charges in my country?
Shipments sent outside the Taiwan may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods on all packages destined outside Taiwan, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. For details of Customs charges please consult your own Customs authorities for the latest rates.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances.
Manufacturer Warranty :
William Optics is the manufacturer of the products sold on WOnline. This means that each original item is covered by the WO warranty.
The WILLIAM OPTICS CORP. Product Warranty applies only to the original buyer in possession of the original proof of purchase.
WO warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase from WO, or from the invoice shipment date (the warranty period). Please notify WO beforehand in order to solve any warranty claim in a speedy way.
For a period of TWO YEARS (check each product for further details or longer warranty periods) from the date of original retail purchase, WO will repair or replace a defective product provided it is returned to WO freight prepaid, with proof of purchase. The warranty applies to the opto-mechanical assembly, and any part or accessory provided with our standard instruments unless otherwise specified.
During the warranty period, William Optics will repair or replace based on individual cases a defective product or part of it provided it is returned to WO freight prepaid, with proof of purchase. William Optics will decide whether to be deemed responsible for the defect or to charge the customer.
This warranty is not valid in cases where the product has been misused, mishandled, where unauthorized repairs have been performed without our written authorization, or where depreciation of the product is due to normal wear-and-tear
